August 7, 2024 Weekly Update
This coming Sunday we will gather at the Veteran’s Home in Columbia Falls for a combined worship service with Our Savior’s Lutheran church. For the last few weeks, we’ve been reflecting on what it means to “Worship with Rejoicing.” As we’ve looked at each piece of the worship service, we’ve seen how they fit together to shape and form us as God’s people. What better way to worship with rejoicing than gathering with neighbors and veterans at the Veteran’s home!
Bring your chair and join us at the pavilion on the east side of the main building. The service will begin at 10:15am. We are looking for a few folks to help with the following:
– Come at 9:45am and help the Vet’s home staff transport people from the exit door of the main building to the pavilion area, about 150ft.
– Make coffee at church Sunday morning, and help bring canisters, creamer, napkins, and cups to the Vet’s home pavilion. Our Savior’s Lutheran is bringing doughnuts!
Please let the office or me know if you can help. The weather looks great – maybe even a little cool on Sunday morning!. There will be no livestream this Sunday morning, but I look forward to seeing you in person!
