August 14, 2024 Weekly Update
A big “Thank You” to all who helped and participated in our worship service at the Veteran’s Home last Sunday. It was a wonderful moment to be together and live out our “Worship with Rejoicing” worship focus of the last few weeks. Veterans expressed their gratitude for the gathering, and the staff appreciated our presence, too. Thank you to our ushers, greeters, transport assistants, and hand chimers who helped facilitate the special day!
This Sunday we will wrap up our series “Worship with Rejoicing” by looking at the Benediction. It’s the final part of each worship service. Sometimes it is formal. Sometimes it makes us laugh or smile. But what’s the point? And why do we do it every single week?
