July 2022 Newsletter
Hello friends,
Summer seems to have finally arrived in the Flathead! As we embrace the sunshine and warmer weather, may our hearts swell with hospitality and generosity for the tourists and visitors who find themselves in our local stores, shops, and parking spots (and maybe our pews!?).
As you relax at the campground, hit the trail, or enjoy that cool lake water, here are some upcoming ways we can stay connected and be in ministry together this month:
- Ice Cream Bar/Popsicle night is Tuesday July 12 5:30-6:30p. Stop by and enjoy a cool treat. We’ll have tables, chairs, and yard games set up to help us connect with each other and our neighbors.
- Kid’s Camp (formerly VBS) is Mon-Thur July 18-21 5:15-7:45p at CFUMC. Our Savior’s Lutheran church will partner with us again to offer a modified evening schedule that includes dinner for kids, families, and volunteers each night! Watch for announcements about ways to help & sign up.
- Community Office Hours – Want to say hi? Or visit for a bit and share what’s on your mind? Come find me around town in July! I’ll be at Backslope Brewing Mon July 11 1-2p outside at picnic tables & Odd Fellows Coffee House Wed July 20 9:30-11am. My intention is to make space to connect with everyone – but especially new visitors to CFUMC and our surrounding community.
Find ways to stay connected and serve one another this month as we build beloved community together!
